We finally got our reissue of Les Baxter’s “Soul of the Drums” album from Real Gone Records! It sounds great! And the colored vinyl is a fun added touch! Of course audiophiles that we are, we try to compare how it stands against the original album, as far as the mix goes, but, all in all, I think Real Gone Records did a great job! Everyone has their preferences, as far as sound goes, but, I think this is a really nice reissue, and if you have an original album that isn’t as clean sounding as you’d like it to be, then this would be a great purchase! We are happy we got it! Overall, we think it does the album justice! Let us know if you got it, too!
