A couple of Tradewinds tiki cocktails, “The Surfers’ Hit Movie Songs From The Exotic Islands” on the turntable, and instantly Mr. C and I are transported to our own tropical oasis! This rare, hard to find (at least around here) album, is one of our treasured ones by The Surfers, one of our favorite Hawaiian vocal groups! Did you know they first appeared together at a Glendale, California junior college prom?! Here they sing songs from famous Hollywood movies, like the beautiful “Follow Me” from “Mutiny on the Bounty” and so many others! If you love movie themes AND The Surfers, like I do, check it out!
